Tim is the founder of Compat.io. He’s an expert on enterprise software, specifically product configuration systems, also known as CPQ or configure-price-quote systems. Over a 22+ year career, Tim has worked for and with the world’s leading software companies and manufacturers. He has designed, built, implemented and helped companies select CPQ systems that scale to millions of users. He has a passion for customized products, or any solution that can be tailored to the end user’s exact needs, and believes that this capability should be woven into all commerce channels so that everyone can get exactly what they want. Tim has a background in cognitive science and organizational behavior. He’s also a gearhead who loves to build and tweak his own stuff: motorcycles, bicycles, audio equipment, and airplanes. He lives in Springfield Missouri with his wife Leslie. He’s an instrument-rated private pilot and avid cyclist, with a love for anything with wheels, wings, or sails.

Chacko has founded and run companies in the fields of software development, supply chain management and logistics technologies. He is multilingual, with an executive education from Stanford Graduate School of Business and an MS from Arizona State University. An avid endurance cyclist, Chacko cycled from Seattle, Washington to Washington, DC, covering 3300 miles as part of an effort that raised $300,000 for the American Lung Association in 2010. He loves exploring new places with his wife and children.
Vice President - Operations & Strategy
Catherine’s experience combines operations, technology and creativity. As President, Off Radar Media Group, L.A., she identified viable opportunities for investors and managed the resulting start-up ventures. A specialist in media design and technology, she headed Technical Operations – West Coast, MTV Networks, developing technical designs and supervising production operations for award shows, reality shows and concerts. At NBC, New York, she was Operations Manager for the start-up of CNBC and edited for NBC News. Catherine earned a B.A., Economics, from Washington University and an M.A., Learning Design and Technology, from SDSU. Always curious, she is an avid reader, enjoys exploring new places and experimenting with new recipes. A dog lover, she serves on the board of K9s For Camo, a nonprofit training rescue dogs as service dogs for veterans.
Joe earned a BA in Philosophy and a BS in Computational Analytics from The Ohio State University. This unique combination of analytical training has empowered him to hit the ground running in a role combining data science, database architecture, and software development. He enjoys golf and motorsports and is a devoted fan of Liverpool FC, Columbus Crew SC, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Above all, Joe is always seeking to learn and innovate, both personally and professionally.
Varghese has more than 13 years of experience in the software industry building, leading and mentoring technical and non-technical teams. A people person, he loves interacting with people and building relationships. Varghese is a sports enthusiast who follows all sports. He loves playing all racquet sports and football.
Britto’s technical excellence comes from 20 years of experience in the IT industry, working with well known organizations such as IBM, NTT, Mccann Erickson and Manorama Online. In addition to his coding expertise, he brings a strong foundation in design aesthetics and product development from his earlier tenure with advertising agencies. He loves to read technical books and is a proud curator of an extensive collection of them. Also a movie fanatic, he lives in Kochi, Kerala, India.
After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Nikhil started his career as a Python developer. Subsequently, he developed web apps for a range of applications. Currently he is working on expanding his professional horizon through Machine Learning and AI. Outside of work, Nikhil is an automobile enthusiast, avid music listener and a full time foodie. He loves travel and spending time with friends and family.
Gus is an enterprise software expert, specializing in configuration systems. In his 15+ years career, he has designed and implemented complex CPQ solutions for many major companies across diverse industries, including Industrial Machinery, Automobiles, Construction, Contractor Services, Computer Hardware and Promotional Materials. He holds an MS in Industrial Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington. Gus currently lives in Chennai, India and loves to play all kinds of sports including basketball, tennis, badminton, and cricket.
Wes has designed SaaS platforms for enterprise projects across industries, including pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer-packaged goods, financial services, entrepreneurship and productivity. Before joining Compatio, he ran his own UX shop for nine years, consulting on projects for both Fortune 100 companies and nonprofits with the same goal: improving a project’s success by defining a shared vision from everyone involved and respecting every side of the table. Wes is usually subscribed to 4–7 different DND podcasts.
Always a passion, bicycles became a profession for Scott at age 16, when he became a bicycle mechanic. With a love for laughter and human interaction, Scott also dove into the world of improvised comedy. Working as a mechanic in bicycle shops from Sydney, Australia to Chicago, Illinois, allowed him to share laughter with the world, landing at iO Chicago. Most recently, he managed a bicycle service center in operation since 1925. Scott is always in search of good stories, better friends, and the best experiences.
Nicole earned a BA in Management and Communications from Corban University in Salem, Oregon. Before joining Compatio she co-founded two small businesses and has a varied background in administration, project management and event planning. She enjoys traveling with her family and writing. Nicole serves as an assistant director of Teen Reach Adventure Camp, providing teens in foster care a weekend summer camp experience that brings hope and change.
Amy earned a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Missouri – Columbia with a certificate in Information Systems. With experience in public accounting and the manufacturing industry, Amy brings a well-rounded knowledge of the accounting world. Amy is married with two kids who also keep her busy with soccer and many other sports.
Sammy specializes in laying in the only walkable pathway and getting belly rubs from anyone he meets. His unique ability to leave you with a sense of joy, peace, and some white fur to remember him by, is unparalleled. Sammy’s passions include going on runs, alongside his owner on a bicycle, and the quest for the perfect tennis ball.
A curly girl Havanese, Ethel brings her mission of creating more smiles in the world to Compat.io headquarters. A social media dogfluencer, she uses her curly SpEthelness to bring people together, in true Compat.io style. Her passions include treats, doing tricks for treats, and meeting new best friends (who give her treats).
